Elder Shermella Garrett.
A native Californian, Presiding Elder Shermella Garrett comes
to our conference having previously served at Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church, Riverside, CA. Rev. Garrett's background includes
that of a veteren law enforcement officer. Following retirement after a wonderful career as a Police Officer, ministry
was on her mind. Educationally sound having acheived her Master's Degree in Divinity, Spiritually based, Rev. Garrett
has found that her love for God has taken her to a new level of service.
From time to time you too will have an opportunity to visit with her mother
"Ms Ella" Garrett, who checks in to ensure all is well. She also enjoys the love of her siblings, who are predominately
located in the California area. A sports lover, you might find her at a "USC" football game, or just perched in front
of her T.V. waiting for that next touchdown. Not only football, but a sports minded individual, you may find her channel
surfing looking for a good sporting event. If you see her in "Mexico", you might find her snorkeling, or attempting
to rock climb. Ambitious, full of energy and a warm spirit, with a wonderful sence of humor and a calling to serve
God, the Pacific Northwest Conference is proud to have serving as our leader and mentor, Rev. Shermella Garrett, Presiding
